Does our data ever leave Australia?
No. Customer data is stored in Australia and never leaves it. Backups are held here too, and processing happens in our own private cloud in Australia.
Is sovereign AI the same as Australian hosting?
No. Hosting is about where the servers sit. Sovereignty also covers where the model runs, where the processing happens, who can reach the data and whether anything is passed to a provider outside the country. A service can be hosted in Australia and still send your question overseas to be answered.
Are you calling ChatGPT, OpenAI, Anthropic or Google underneath?
No. HeyMi runs on models we host and operate ourselves, in Australia. Your questions and data are never sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or any other outside AI provider.
